Now then onto the Hof Service for this moon... I am inquired of on a continuum by folk and non-folk alike as to whether our Gods are in fact real, or not? Well, to cut through the chase, the answer is; "Of course they are real!" In fact, they are every bit as real as you or I. However, simple as it is to assert thus, it is never so cut and dry in explaining it. For each individual who I have conversed with in an effort to explain what seems to be tantamount to an enigma to their way of thinking requires an approach to rendering such an answer which makes sense in correlation to their particular query. For example, one gentleman whom places his stock in with the sciences poses the age old science vs. nature (i.e. Gods) angle regarding whether or not our Gods are in fact real. He set about debating divinity by what I asserted with equations of science and thereafter asserting that science does not lie! I calmly explained to him that that was/is not the fact at all. Quite the contrary! The truths and facts which we have arrived at through science, in many instances, are being reconsidered and amended these days on a rather frequent table. I further posit that if we are merely to attribute the wondrous grandeur of life's spectacle, within the realm of nature, with mere reductions and deductions in the name of science, then no such mysteries remain! There is no purpose to life, no synchronicity; everything is just one random act after another! What of the inadequacies in the theory of evolution, I queried? What of the metaphysical? He admitted that I levied some decent arguments, but how do I know that the Gods are real? You obviously comprehend the quality of synchronicity within the realm of science, I proffered. Well, yes, of course, he said. Well, the Gods occur within the realm of nature just as much as we ourselves do...all of us, Gods and man alike are an integral component of nature and the laws of nature. The realm of the cosmos which you so simply wish to explain away with science, is the very conduit which trans-personal energies are conducted through from God to man, man to God, man to man wherefore the commonality of a shared folk soul and conscious are in regard, it all occurs within the web of warp and woof at play about us at all times, within the realm of natural order. And therein lies the foundation for the occurrence of synchronicity within the realm of nature. Example: Several members of a shared folk located in several different parts of the world and totally unaware of one another, are all thinking the same thing at the same time - that is synchronicity. And the shared folk conscious is what is responsible for affecting such a thought in so many at the same time. That collective conscious is a God and it has existed long before man existed. It has simply always been! Now then, explain that away with science. It cannot be done!

When you feel an instinctive gut feeling that tells you to do this, or that and you later learn that it saved you from some unpleasant event, the science of psychology calls this quality – intuition, though they cannot afford us any explanation of plausibility. That is because that voice inside is in my opinion the voice of our Gods and/or ancestors.

And so then, be this the case of validity, would not all Gods be the component personalities of the 'one' divine spirit, as it were? Absolutely not! There is nothing so simple wherefore such entities of vast complexity are to be considered. In today’s Universalistic oriented society, such one size/one god fits all mentality is certainly more oft than not, pandered by those with the Universalistic/Egalitarian agenda which are designed to elicit the very destruction of any and all genuine diversity wherefore culture, heritage and religion are all concerned. Do not be misled by such pie in the sky, fantastical thinking. There will never be any total peace on earth and any Theological doctrine, or philosophy which promises thus, is promoting an egregious lie!

Just as the myths, culture and heritage of a people are unique unto that people, so too are their Gods as made manifest via a myriad of vehicles including, but not limited to, the very voice of our Gods, the primordial Folk consciousness which permeates the primordial Folk soul which resides in the very blood of our ancestors which flows through our veins. In fact, to reiterate, they are timeless qualities which have always been, aeons prior to the dawn of humanity. And so then, it goes without saying along such lines of reasoning as posited above that for each race of people exists indigenous Gods as genuine and unique as each race's culture, heritage and myths.

The evidence of the reality of our Gods is all about us and easily witnessed. And they will not abandon us simply because we elect to disavow them, for that is a human error, not a divine one. Alas, those who continue to insist that the Gods, any Gods, are merely a construct of man, or those whom seek to reduce them and the laws of natural order, to simple scientific formula, will not only deprive themselves of a working relationship with that which is truly divine, they will miss out entirely on the very majesty of life's experiences with the wonderment and magical qualities that only the Gods may provide.

Our Gods are real. They are not some mere archetypes of natural forces. Natural forces are the very result of the Gods fulfilling their role within the realm of natural order! As we approach the month of Haymoon, let us each endeavor to pay our respects to our modern era founders. Not just those who live on in our hearts and praises, but those whom we can easily enjoy the company and wealth of wisdom from, the living. And for Gods' sake, and yours too, seek to commune with our Gods in some special place and in some special way.
