Heilsan Folk!

Springtide is about to erupt in an orgasm of color in an orgasm of color in which the sweet Goddess Ostara spreads her gifts of birth, re-birth, renewal and rejuvenation all across the breadth of Midgard.  Her beautiful smile may be seen both night and day just about everywhere one may rest one’s gaze!  The Summer Finding (Spring Equinox) will occur for the west coast of Vinland at 21:48 on the 19th at 00:48 on the 20th for the East Coast and at 05:48 on the 20th of Lenting (March) Universal time.

Ostara (April) 14th is SUMMARSDAG and the 1st Day of Merry Moon (May) is MAYDAY.  For a copy of the Holy Nation of Odin, Inc. perpetual calendar of the Holy Year and days of remembrance, send a self addressed stamped envelope to the Holy Nation of Odin, Inc and we’ll get one off to you.

Beginning with this issue of Gungnir, the religious/spiritual journal of the Holy Nation of Odin, Inc. (HNO) will be available at $5.00 per copy, or its content may be downloaded from our website at www.holynationofodin.org.  We will not provide free copies except for very minimal exceptions.  There will be no more replies to mail that does not contain a self addressed stamped envelope.  This of course too has minimal exceptions.  And of course, we can not reply to your missives right away.  So please be patient.  We are a conservative Odinist Church which serves our faith and folk community the world over, with an out reach ministry via the internet and Gungnir in addition to our legally ordained Clergy members.  This is a full time job and it is all that we offer.  Our satellites are the SONS OF ODIN 1519, Vinland/Vinland Kindred/Vinland Kindred Publishing and the VINLAND FOLK RESISTANCE which will soon have our on-line and mail order store open.  You may locate any/all of them by logging on to the HNO website.

We would also like to include our affiliate, the SONS OF ALBION, whose PO Box is 422, Butte, Montana 59703.

Further more, we welcome Brother Michael Stephan as an administrative member of the HNO and as the Executive Administrator of the VINLAND FOLK RESISTANCE, now with members and supporters world wide.

We have grown over the past few years much faster than any of us had anticipated.  While our incarcerated membership has evened out at just over 300, our free world numbers are anticipated to surpass two thousand this year and are world wide.  With this volume of growth, we require new regional directors, administrators and more ordained Gothar.  If this may be you and you do indeed meet our criteria for such a position, please contact us at our home office in Kingsburg, CA or at our website in order to apply.  The HOLY NATION OF ODIN, INC. and the SONS OF ODIN, 1519 are both legal religious, non-profit organizations under 501(c) and registered in California.  The HNO is a legal religious non-profit church and outreach ministry.  The SONS OF ODIN, 1519 is an order of legally ordained Gothar (Priests).  Both religious organizations are open to those whom are conservative and fundamentalist Odinists and who adhere to our rules and regulations and meet the criteria contained within the language thereof.
